Cumbria Waste Group, (CWG) are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the waste service contract for Metrocentre, Gateshead, one of the largest shopping centres in the UK. Metrocentre is managed by Savills.
CWG has over 25 years’ experience of providing total waste solutions with a focus on resource recovery to produce substitute raw material products. Our continued investment in infrastructure, innovation and people means we are ideally suited to service Metrocentre’s 2 million sq. ft of retail & leisure space which is the prime regional shopping mall in the North of England.
Metrocentre and CWG are aligned in their core values and principles, striving to ensure that our activities impact positively on the local people by caring about the community and the environment. We are excited to develop this new partnership and improving the level of recycling and the service to the retailers on site.
