Cumbria Waste Group have been involved with Operation Respect, a multi agency event which takes place across various locations in Cumbria to tackle local anti-social behaviour. Twenty-four partner agencies come together annually to run local community events with the aim of connecting with some of the most under-served and in-need communities by meeting them where they work and live. It involves events that focus on building relationships between communities and partners built on trust and aligned values.
Cumbria Waste provided 40yard RORO’s and disposal free of charge for each event, and communities rallied together to dispose of their unwanted items from their homes and gardens.
